What to expect with a Pet Portrait at My Portrait Photographer
1. Warm Welcome and Consultation: When you arrive at the studio, you'll be greeted by myself. We will discuss your preferences, the style of portraits you want, and any specific ideas you have in mind. This consultation helps ensure that the session is tailored to your furry friend's unique personality.
2. Professional Setup: The studio will be equipped with professional lighting, backdrops, and props to create the perfect setting for your portraits. There will be treats and toys to keep your pet focused and you will be involved in trying to keep them still at times to capture the best shots.
3. Relaxed Atmosphere: Pet sessions are a little more relaxed as we try to let them get used to the surroundings and of course myself. We are not looking for the perfect pose, but more capturing their natural self as this is how you see them.
4. Variety of Shots: Expect a variety of shots, including yourselves. It's not just about your pet but how the interact with you. We will capture different angles and compositions to provide you with a diverse selection of images.
5. Quick Viewing and Selection: After the session, you'll have the opportunity to view the photos and select your favorites. There is no hard selling, but I will help you choose any products that include prints, digital files, and other products like photo albums or framed portraits to help you show off and cherish your photos.
6. Editing and Retouching: The selected photos will undergo professional editing and retouching to enhance their quality. This includes adjusting lighting, color correction, and minor touch-ups to ensure the final images are perfect.
7. Final Viewing: Once the editing is complete, usually around 1 week after your photoshoot, your selected photos will be displayed for your enjoyment. You can choose which images you want printed and any other products bought will be ordered. Digital images will be sent via online delivery platform so you can start enjoying them straight away.
8. Final Delivery: Any prints, wall art or albums will be quality checked and can then be collected or shipped out depending on your choice.
